Born in Butterworth, Penang (Malaysia’s unofficial food capital), I’ve been a global nomad since 17 but keep getting pulled back to Southeast Asia’s intoxicating mix of sizzling woks, vibrant traditions, and warm hospitality. There’s just something magical about how a simple bowl of noodles can tell the story of generations, or how a street food vendor’s smile makes even the sweatiest roadside meal unforgettable.

Let me take you back to where it all began – like so many other wanderlust-fueled creators, I started C Kology during the pandemic as my personal love letter to Penang.
